We have eaten in many Japanese steakhouses around the country, and this experience tonight was one of the best! Don't get me wrong, hibachi is pretty much the same wherever you go - soup, salad, fried rice, veggies and proteins cooked in front of you with some flair. The difference here is the food quality. First, the clear soup was fantastic. Most places, it's either too watered down or too salty. Not here. The broth had a deep depth of flavor, something I never thought I'd write in a review of a Japanese Steakhouse! The salad was so-so. Typical ginger dressing, though it was watery. I had filet & shrimp and Hubby had filet and scallops. The filet was gorgeous, tender and perfectly cooked. Each was about 6-7oz. The scallops were huge and super sweet. The shrimp may have been a little over, but still good. Service was on point, and the decor was beautiful. We will definitely e back when back in the area.

Wanted to update my review from a year ago, we went again today and the experience could not have been any better Food as always as fantastic. The difference this time was the service I don't know if they actually went through and read my review for a year ago or common sense prevailed, but the order in which the food was prepared and served was actually appropriate. The rice and veggies were prepared first, and served at the same time. Then the proteins were prepared and served five minutes after. This is how we should always be! Unfortunately, at my last visit, this is not how it was, and I left a review stating such. Either that review was read by management or somebody with common sense is finally now running things at this location. Either way, well done!

Enjoyed myself very much here. Loved the decor and the happy up feeling of the restaurant. Our server was great at suggesting drinks and food. It was my husband's birthday but was too scared to get the bday cake because someone else just got it. Still had fun singing and following along with the chef. Yes, I would go back again!

Not from the area but decided to eat here for dinner with my boyfriend. It was fairly priced and tasted amazing! The portions were great and the service was good as well. It wasn't as packed as I thought it would be since the parking lot seemed full. We were seated immediately. I would recommend this place to anyone!

A kind friend gave us a gift card and we were excited to try this place. We were welcomed and greeted nicely. The only concern is they took us to the hibachi grill without even asking. That was our destination so it worked out. We were seated and the grill had an issue so we moved to the next one. They took our order. The prices are higher than I am used too. The place seems clean but the floors are slippery. Decorations are minimal. I had steak and scallops. Cooked to order steak but it was very good. The yum yum sauce seemed a little watered down. Wife had the chicken. All good. I walked out stuffed.

A hidden gem in Stafford! We had Herbert for our chef and he was incredible! We came to celebrate my twins' 7th birthday and they had a blast. Herbert did a great job of engaging them and providing constant entertainment meant to everyone. My kids said it was "the best" birthday celebration ever! The food was all delicious - from the soup, salad, and entrees - very tasteful. It would be a great place for a date night or a family outing. Very inviting atmosphere.

Located in a strip mall on Garrisonville Road, Kobe is a decent find for Hibachi. I've been there several times, and the food is pretty consistent. They are open for lunch and dinner with slightly modified menus. I always order dinner since the lunch portion comes with a bunch of carrots...which is really weird. I prefer the zucchini medley and fried rice. The filet mignon, shrimp and chicken is my go to entree as I can get 2 meals out of it. The food is seasoned well, and they are always entertaining. I am glad Stafford has this place since there are slim pickings when it comes to restaurants. 4 Stars
